Ernesto is in the bicycle distribution business, Huffy Bikes www.huffybike.com and he asked if we were interested in helping him and his team establish Bicycles for Humanity in Mexico and begin to redistribute bicycles from those in the more affluent areas to those in need of mobility that a bicycle can deliver. When Brenda and I founded B4H, our very first shipment we delivered was to Mexico 6 years ago, free trade would not allow us to bring the bikes in, so they were walked across the border and reloaded and sent to a community there. New and used bicycles are now allowed into Mexico and we think that what Ernesto and his team is doing is simply outstanding and we support this effort 100%.
