Fundraiser Results

Our inaugural fundraising event took place on Wednesday June 13th, 2007. Many supporters came out for an informal evening at one of Ottawa's most delightful new restaurants, Petit Bill's Bistro on Wellington Street in Ottawa.

The evening provided the opportunity to learn about the initiative, meet the organizers and the supporters.  Pat Montani, founder of Bicycles for Humanity in Whistler, BC, was in attendance, having just completed the final leg of his "Humanity Rocks Ride" in Ottawa.

Thanks to the support and generosity of those who attended (and those contributors who were unable to attend) we were able to make significant progress towards our goal.

A big thank you also goes out to the proprietors of Petit Bill's Bistro, Randy, Terry, and Sharon for their support and collaboration in making the evening a success.
