In 2008, LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics and its Charity Pot program proudly supported Bicycles for Humanity through the sale of their Charity Pot hand and body lotion. 100% of proceeds benefit charities involved in animal rights, environmental protection and humanitarian concerns.

LUSH will be kicked off its Bicycles for Humanity campaign in Ottawa at the Byward Market location at 43 Williams street.

In-store bicycle collection together with various awareness raising events were held in August and September of 2008. At one point the store looked more like a bike shop than a cosmetics retailer! LUSH also rewarded every bike donor with bath treats. Volunteers from LUSH also participated in the final loading of the container and helped pack it for its journey to Namibia!
