Community Fun Day!

| Event Details: | After a very successful inaugural gala in 2008 (where over 1100 the bicycles were collected, of which 650 were sent to Africa), Bicycles for Humanity is hosting a Fun Day to once again generate support for struggling families in Africa. We are expecting to send an additional 500 new and used adult mountain bikes by hosting a casual all day event highlighting a wide array of entertainment including live music, children's activities and various food vendors. The shipping container will be on site with volunteer bike mechanics repairing and loading bikes as they arrive. |
| Participation: | Bring down a new or gently used mountain bike. Some families may wish to donate mountain bike parts, bike tools and/or bike accessories such as helmets, repair kits and pumps. Packages start at $25 and will be available at the event or you may visit our sponsoring bike shops. Join in on a fun day filled with great music, fun for the kids and hope for hundreds of families in Africa! |
