TOONIE RIDE - JULY 3RD "RIDE FOR HUMANITY"

Slope Side and Samurai are deviating from the norm and hosting a very special Toonie this year. It will still be the traditional time trial, however, there will be no organized apres (no food or beverages). The money that would have been spent is going to Bicycles For Humanity, which ships refurbished bikes to Africa.

They are also challenging riders to bring at least an extra toonie to help support the cause. If people want to bring their own sustinence, a pack truck will be able to transport stuff to the finish. Hopefully everyone will hang out there, watch the sunset, and cheer on their fellow riders as they come in!

Sign In: 5:15pm at the yellow gate at the top of Cardiac Hill, Westside Rd. (opposite the Nita Lake Employee Housing)

Ride: Time trial format with 1 riding leaving every 10 seconds starting at 6pm sharp. Fast riders come early.

Finish: South Emerald gravel pit at the bottom of Lorimer Rd.
