No matter where you are, your skill set or the time you have to spend, there is a volunteer job for you to get involved. Collecting, preparing and shipping bicycles to those that need them is a mainstay of Bicycles for Humanity and its partners globally. Become a Friend of Bicycles for Humanity and join the growing global team of Friends.

We also work closely with civic groups, non-profits and charities. If you have skills in writing, communications, sales and general management we need help in co-ordinating efforts with our partner organizations. If you are interested in volunteering, please visit this page.

To support our volunteer activities we have online forums to keep everyone informed and working as a group. Please feel free to join any of the forums or sub topics that you are interested in helping with.

Shipping bicycles to Africa or Central America is very expensive. A container holding 450-500 bikes costs on average $7,000 to ship from North America. To help defray the costs, we have developed a premium program of Limited Edition Prints, posters, hats, shirts and specialty cards. If your background is merchandising or corporate sales and marketing we need your help.
