4/9/10: We are collecting bikes for our spring shipment! A huge thank you to Ursuline High School for hosting our first spring bike collection on March 20, 2010. WE COLLECTED 100 used bikes! Over the next month Ursuline and Cardinal Newman High school students will be collecting bikes until we fill the container with 300 bikes. The bikes will then be shipped to Namibia, Africa to be used for healthcare workers in rural communities. Give you used bike a new life! email santa_rosa@bicycles-for-humanity.org for more info on drop off or pick up of your used bike.

9/27/09: B4H Santa Rosa successfully shipped their first container of bikes to Namibia Africa this summer. 360 bikes were shipped to Gobbabis, Namibia, Africa to establish a bike workshop called REJOICE BICYCLE AND REPAIR PROJECT. These bikes will service homecare workers and the community that has been hit very hard by AIDS. Additionally, the income generated from bike sales and repairs has allowed the parish to feed orphans and vulnerable children in their after school program. WOW. Thank you to everyone who participated in this shipment! B4H Santa Rosa is planning to send one container per year to Africa. We are now collecting for our spring shipment. Give your used bike a new life! Bikes change lives.
